The Bermuda Bar Association is pleased to announce the launch of its In-House Counsel Network, a dedicated committee of the Bar established to support attorneys practicing in corporate, nonprofit, and other in-house roles across Bermuda.

The Network exists to address the distinct professional challenges faced by in-house counsel — challenges that are not always reflected in traditional private practice-focused programming. Through tailored professional development, peer learning, and a collective voice within the Bar, the Network aims to complement and strengthen the Bar Association's existing offerings for this growing segment of the profession.

What We Offer

  • Professional development events covering topics such as ethics in in-house practice, managing outside counsel and legal spend, board advising, risk and compliance, and career mobility
  • A growing repository of practical resources, including model policies and guides for in-house counsel

Mission Statement: The In-House Network exists to support attorneys practicing in corporate, nonprofit, and other relevant in-house roles by providing tailored professional development, a forum for shared experiences, and a collective voice within the Bar Association.

The Committee

The Network is led by a committee of in-house counsel representing a range of industries and seniority levels:

  • Chair - Kaisha Wilson
  • Secretary - Sasha Castle-Hart
  • Professional Development Lead - David Amaro
