The Bermuda Bar is pleased to announce that a new group has been established for the benefit of the junior members of the Bermuda legal profession, the Bermuda Young Lawyers Group ("BYLG"). The objectives of the BYLG are to provide a platform for networking and continued professional and educational development amongst junior members of the Bar. The BYLG will aim to strengthen the collegiate nature of the Bermuda Bar and to provide additional support for younger members of Bermuda's legal profession.
The BYLG is led by David Amaro, Kimberley D. Caines, Maryssa Gabriel, Kyle Masters, Edward Rance, Lovette Tannock, Matthew Watson and Jevon Williams.
Membership in the BYLG is open to lawyers and Registered Associates practicing in Bermuda who are either 36 years' old or younger or 10 years' qualified to practice or less, as well as for pupils who have completed six months' training in the course of lawful pupillage. Membership is automatic for all those who satisfy such criteria.
We encourage all eligible persons wishing to be added to the BYLG distribution list to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
